We’re incredibly proud and happy to share with you that the third album of the Yaşam Hancılar Band ‘Rush Hour’ is nominated for Edison Jazz Award 2021 in the category of jazz vocal national.
The jury says: “Hancilar is a versatile vocalist. On Rush Hour he presents himself as a connoisseur of tradition with a curiosity for new ideas: exciting. The collaboration with the trio that also operates under its own name (New Conrad Miller Trio) has been very successful with transparency and virtuosity as pillars.”
Edison is most prestigious and oldest music award in the Netherlands. Edison can be described as an award like the American Grammy Award, German Echo or British Brit Awards.
